The Forged Olive santoku knife 14 cm is the Japanese version of the chefs knife. The word santoku means three virtues, referring to the three cutting functions of the knife: fine cuts, slices and cubes. Thanks to this versatility it is a true all rounder in the kitchen. The Forged Olive knives are made from Japanese 440C steel with a hardness of 58 Rockwell. All Forged knives are hand forged, which makes each piece unique. The knives have a blade thickness of 2 mm and a cutting angle of 18 degrees. The Olive santoku knife 14 cm is packed in a luxury wooden box.
